Description
Llwyn Onn, Aberangell was built during the surge of building work that took place following the establishment of the slate quarrying industry from around 1870 to 1900. Here the first village post office was established in the mid 1890s as well as the last village stores. The lady in the picture, taken during the late 1920s, is Miss Howells, the then postmistress.
