Description

A letter from the Directorate of Lands to the original owner of land near Pembrey. The land was bought by the Nobel's Explosives Company in May 1916 and passed to the War Office, which was offering to sell the land and water pumping rights back to Ann Rees.
On the reverse someone has written in pencil
"With regard to the above land, the building erected, which would have been a useful addition to the farm buildings, was sold without my knowledge.
The reservoir is of no use whatsoever to me but is very dangerous to the animals on the farm and also would incur expense to keep it fenced in. The fence is in a dilapidated state at present, & requires immediate attention."
