Description

"I’ve always loved spending time in the countryside; cherished childhood memories of playing in the New Forest with my sister or volunteering for my gap year’s summer days caring for newly planted trees on the slopes overlooking Haweswater reservoir for the RSPB. Once forged, a love of nature passes on to new generations – Lily (my niece), drew these lovely pictures for me over lockdown.
Especially during these difficult times she brings us sunshine. Like many other families I look forward to the time we are able to see each other again – for walk around her favourite ‘fairy woods’ at Llanerchaeron or to play with our dogs on the beach at New Quay.
In the meantime her art fills the walls of my tiny study with the sunshine she always brings. So proud of her."

- Auntie Haze and Lilian Sisley-Carter (aged 7)
