Indictment - For Riotously assembling with others to the
number of 2000 and more at Saint Woolos on
4th November and making a Riot -
CaseThe Prisoner who is a very desperate Character and agst whom a True Bill
of Burglary has been found in another Case
is one of those persons who formed
the mob urging people to join them on their
March from the Hills to Newport He is seen
immediately after the firing at the Westgate on
Morning of the 4th Nov with a Pike in his Hand
running from the direction of the Westgate
to a lane called Bakehouse Lane Opposite the
Catholic Chapel at the bottom of Stow Hill where
he threw away his Pike And was followed
into a House and taken Upon his person a
Chartist Card was found And he subsequently
admitted to the Constable Who took him that
he had come down from the Hills being forced
