My Dear Sir,
I understand that Solomon
Britton had been delivered into custody on a
charge of yours for a Riot and conspiracy, I
shall be glad if you will me know
what you wish to have done with him, whether
it is upon the charge on the 4th November
or since - if it is for the Riot on the 4th
November I think I shall be able to get
Evidence sufficient to commit him here
and will hear the case at the police
office here on Monday or at Caerleon
Page 2:
Petty Sessions on Tuesday, but please let me
know for return what you wish to have done and if
you cannot attend I will do the needful - if
his conduct as been such as to require him to be
prosecuted since he has been discharged, dont you
think he had better do so at Sessions
Yours truly
Edmd H Edwards
