In going to the Coach & Horses from his house he
would have to pass my house - I did not see him
at any other time on Monday - I did not hear the
women say any thing to him on that day - his father
keeps two horses - one a Chestnut with a flax mane and
tail and the other a Bay one - the first is 14 or 15
hands high at least - the other a Bay one- they are
both fit for riding or drawing -
Cross examined by Mr. Hall - I was first applied to
yesterday to give evidence - I left Blackwood yesterday
I recollect what liquor I drank today - I began this
morning before day light drinking noggins of rum -
I paid for two or three noggins at least - I drank a
glass out of some of them - I have drunk no Beer
it was before breakfast I drank the rum - I breakfasted
about nine o'clock - to the best of my recollection I did
not drink anything since breakfast - I came here by
myself - I was not brought by any one - I was not
supported into the house by a man I was so drunk
I was not refused drink at the Bar of this house
because I was drunk
