Thomas Evans of the Park Machine
in the parish of St Woollos
Park Machine keeper states
I know the Prisoner
whom we call Neddy
Pillinger in Welsh. I have
known him 2 or 3 years
I was at home Sunday
night 3rd Nov. I just heard
people inside the Park on
Monday Morning about
8 o'clock they were armed
with Pikes foremost together
and them that had the Muskets
followed them & those with
Bludges Pick Axes Mandrells
and all manner of things
________________think
followed I should ^there
were 4 or 5000. I saw

returning I saw the Pillinger
with them walking back
from toward Newport
He had nothing that I saw

with one wooden leg
