For Conspiracy & Riot
Brief for the Prosecution-
Indictment For conspiring on 1st October and other days at
Bedwas with divers persons to raise insurrections &c obstruct
the Laws and prevent their due execution - That Prisoner
in furtherance of said Conspiracy did advise divers persons to arm
themselves for the purpose of obstructing the laws and Government
and more effectually raising Insurrections &c against the
peace &c
2nd Count - For conspiring to make Insurrections and obstruct &
prevent the due execution of the Laws &c
3rd Count - For a Riot
