3. William Davies - 3 Speaks to sevl. meetings at the Coach & Horses with the Delegate the week before the Riots - arranging the plan for the attack upon
Newport.

4 Herbert Davies - 4 Saw Prisoner at the Navigation Inn the Friday Evening - he asked Witness if he was armed and that they should have
a flag at the Church at Newport before 10 next morning.

5 William Evans- 5 Apprehended prisoner.

6 James Emery - 6 Attended meeting at Prisoner's House - saw Prisr at Abersychan - who told the people they could have arms at the

7 John Holman Evans - 7 Service of Copy Indictment Jury List and first List of Witnesses. -

8 Basil Gray - 8 The Officer commanding at the Westgate.

9 Edward Hopkins - 9 The Police Officer who searched Prisoner and found papers upon him - Speaks as to the attack upon the Westgate.

that they had meetings.

20. John Prosser - 20. An armed mob came to his mother's House Sunday night - Prisoner was the Leader. -they took
a Gun from the House. -

21 John Phillips- 21 Passed by Mob Prisoner desired mob to bring him along - he directed the Mob.
