Description
A rare Victorian era / 19th century uniform button of the former Monmouthshire Constabulary. It measures one inch diameter and has a fixing loop to the rear. There are no manufacturers details. Possibly silver plated, which would suggest a button from the uniform of a senior officer. *The Ross Mather Police Memorabilia of Wales Collection.
