Description

An early badge that was worn on a kepi (hat) of policemen of the former Flintshire Constabulary. Flintshire Constabulary was the Home Office police force for the Welsh county of Flintshire from 1856 until 1967. In 1965, the force had an establishment of 256 and an actual strength of 231. It now forms part of the North Wales Police area.
