Description

Several small wooden suspension bridges used to cross the river Teifi in Llandysul and were frequently used by fishermen - and naughty children who would love to jump up and down on them of course! This is one of the former bridges that used to cross the river behind the Porth Hotel. It was destroyed after serious flooding. This picture is taken from 1985 or 1986, but the most dramatic flooding occurred in Llandysul in the autumn of 1987.
