Description

Hundreds of visitors flocked to Rhyl at the height of its popularity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Lists of visitors were printed in the local newspaper, the Rhyl Record and Advertiser, each lodging and guest house providing a list of guests who were staying there that week. In 1905, at the time of this postcard, Mr & Mrs Healy of Dublin; Mr Price-Wilkinson from Leamington; and Mr & Mrs Barman of Birmingham were all staying at the Parade Boarding House, enjoying a holiday in Sunny Rhyl!

Rhyl Journal, 29th July 1905.
