Description

Steamer vessels ran regularly from Chester to Llandudno to convey day passengers to the seaside. A small pleasure steamer, called the ‘Rhos Neiger’ sank between Llandudno and Rhos on Sea in 1908, causing an ‘exciting scene’. However, fortunately, there were no tragedies and the ‘shipwrecked holidaymakers’ were returned to Llandudno pier unharmed. Chester Courant, 22nd July 1908.
