Description

The Bus Park and Garage facilities at Barry Island in the late 1920s.Buses and charabancs with solid and pneumatic tyres came down from the South Wales Valleys on day trips to Barry Island.The operators in the foreground were from Abersychan, Newport and Dowlais. Many vehicles needed a visit to the garage facilities before returning home.
