Description
Colourised postcard of people walking along the Pier promenade, Menai Bridge, Anglesey. The ladies in the foreground later became Mrs Lewis Jones Davies wife of a bank manager (the taller of the two) and Mrs F. J. Matthews wife of Mr F. J. Matthews the local school master (in the dark dress). The figures by the Gas standard are the local Police Inspector and Constable. Photograph taken in 1905.
