Description

Stuart Watkins played for Newport and Cardiff and earned 26 caps for Wales between 1964 and 1970. He played on the wing and will probably be remembered for his remarkable interception try at Cardiff in 1966. To score, he ran some 75 yards, brushing aside would-be tackles. It was a try which enabled Wales to gain a 9-8 victory over France.
