Description

In 1924, a delegation of four Welsh women undertook a 'Welsh Women's Peace Tour' across America, meeting president Calvin Coolidge before travelling across the country, garnering support for the appeal.

The above visual shows the route taken by the ships and the name of the ships taken by the women's peace petition delegation.

This graphic was created by members of Heddwch Nain Mamgu for an event leaflet alongside WCIA’s ‘Women War & Peace’ exhibition at Storiel in Bangor in March 2019. It has been used since by members of the Women’s Appeal Centenary Partnership, supported by Academi Heddwch.
