Description
Horse Drawn Hay Sweep from Llanfihangel Glyn Myfr, Denbighshire, measured from the original at St Fagans. Scale of model 1" to 1 Ft. Drawn by one Horse, when the Sweep was full the driver pushed the handles up so the Sweep tipped forward to deposit its load, then turned a full circle to start collecting again. Once rows of cut Hay had been gathered a Gambo would typically collect the Hay.
