Description

Map, engraved by Emanuel Bowen (1694–1767), published in 1720, in John Owen's 'Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improved'. This was a pocket road atlas of England and Wales produced to be convenient for travellers. The book contains county maps such as this Anglesey one, followed by a series of strip maps showing key routes.
