Description
The first photo shows Police Constable Ken Mead, of the Monmouthshire Constabulary giving directions to a motorist.
The second photo him in a group, taken in the early 1950's whilst undergoing his basic training at the Police Training Centre. Ken is kneeling in the centre of the front row (wearing a flat cap).
His police service saw him stationed at Griffithstown, Cwmbran and Monmouth.
