Description
Beaumaris Church – legend has it that the 4 faces of the clock on the tower never shows the same time. The story goes that Richard Rowlands, the last person to be hanged at Beaumaris Gaol, and protested his innocence to the very end cursed the clock from the gallows. He said that if he was telling the truth then the four faces of the church clock would never show the same time….
