Description
The Thief Stone of Llandyfrydog. There are many tales about this stone, but the common theme that runs through each variation is that when a thief stole from Llandyfrydog Church, he ran away with a sack of ill-gotten gains on his back and turned to stone. Some say that he comes back to life and runs around the field when the clock at Llandyfrydog Church strikes 7, eventhough Llandyfrydog Church doesn’t have a clock….. Others say that he runs around the field three times every Christmas Eve….
