Description
The Wheelwright's Traveller was used to determine the length of the metal bar to form the tire of the cartwheel. The Traveller was pushed around the wheel rim and the number of turns recorded. This information was then transferred to the metal bar which was cut and formed into the tire before fitting to the wheel.
