Description

By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. This is a programme of a Sacred Concert held at the Drill Hall (Civic Hall), Llandilo / Llandeilo on Sunday evening, 5 August 1928 at 8pm. Proceeds in aid of the Llandilo United Choir. The Conductor of the evening was Mr David Hughes; the Pianist was Mr R. J. Evans; and the President was Colonel W. N. Jones MP.
