Description

The lifeboat shown appears to be being brought to the sea-shore for launching. Lots of people crowding the vessal show how important and impressive the occassion was for Llandudno.

This particular boat saved twenty-six lives on nineteen service missions at Llandudno. It is a 37ft self-righter named after Port Sunlight where Lever Brothers Ltd. was based, as the Lever Brothers were responsible for funding the construction of the vessel.
