Description
This photograph shows the team posed proudly ,outside the main entrance to the church. The Reverend Joseph Baker is in the middle, second row, dressed as befits an Anglican priest and Edwardian gentleman. The cricket team seem more relaxed sporting cloth caps as well as cricket caps while one well-dressed young man wears a suit topped by a bowler,
It is likely that some of these young men were serving in the trenches just nine years later.
