Description

This photograph shows RAF servicemen meeting a group of friendly local Tribesmen next to damaged RAF aeroplane in the countryside in Aden in 1959. Wireless Technician Ivor Thomas can be seen standing at the back of the group. This is one of a collection of photographs taken by RAF National serviceman Ivor Thomas and his colleagues during his tour of Aden.
