Description

This is a photograph of a sculpture of famous Welsh Prince Rhys ap Gruffydd, who was the ruler of the kingdom of Deheubarth in South Wales from 1155 to 1197. Also known as Lord Rhys, the prince is connected to Cardigan castle in Ceredigion. This sculpture was created by local Sculptor Harry Comley, an Army veteran and gifted to the castle for display.
