Description

View from the River Taf. The Boathouse on the left and the Ferry Houses on the right. Above on the hill is Cliff House owned at this time by Lady Kaye. The photo was taken by Alexander Pearson of Westmoreland who owned the lease on the Boathouse between 1893 and 1905. One of the ferry houses was an inn and home to the family who operated the Laugharne to Llansteffan ferry. In 1891 the ferryman was Lewis Roberts.
