Description

The exact location of this photo is uncertain but it was probably taken from the bank of the River Cowin, a tributary of the Taf, with Llandeilo Abercowin church and farm in the background. The lady in the boat could be Anna Pearson, wife of the photographer.
Alexander Pearson held the lease on the Boat House, Laugharne between 1893 and 1905 when he died. Pearson was a solicitor from Westmoreland who spent a lot of time holidaying in Laugharne.
