Description
This is a copy of an original photograph showing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second and HRH Prince Philip being presented to the ships company during a visit to HMS Ocean in May 1957. It is believed John was given this photograph by a crew mate, when he served HMS Ocean, sometime later. The visit to HMS Ocean was included for the programme of events as her majesty visited the home fleet between 27th to 29th May 1957 accompanied by HRH Prince Philip[.
