Description

This is a copy of an original photograph of Harold Gwyn Davies, known as Gwyn, who was living in the Golden Valley, Herefordshire in 1953, when Queen Elizabeth second was crowned. Special commemorative photographs were offered at the time of the coronation and 14 year old Gwyn took the opportunity to commemorate the coronation. Just over twelve months later Gwyn would go on to serve his new Queen in the Royal Navy.
