Description

This is a photograph of the Royal Navy heavy repair ship HMS Ausonia that RN Sailor Gwyn Davies served aboard in 1962. The photograph was published in the Royal News and is credited to David Arkwright. It is published here to illustrate the career of Gwyn Davies. The image offers an excellent view of the ship sailing from Malta, where Gwyn was stationed on her.
