Description

Artist Lily Hutter has drawn out her design, inspired by the impressive architectural structure of Dowlais Library - where the Dowlais Visual Art Group meet. She has reversed the image and outlined the lines using a pen. At this stage she has carefully carved out the outline using the hand held tool. This is a delicate process which not only is very time consuming but also requires full concentration by the artist creating the artwork. One slip and it can cause a re-think for the overall design.
