Description
Artist Mair Smith is working on her lino-cut design. She was inspired to create this landscape of a local beauty spot near Merthyr Tydfil called Pontsticill (Taf Fechan) Reservoir. People come from far and wide to enjoy the scenery, canoe, sail and fish in the waters that run of the uplands of the South Wales Valleys. Here Mair has traced her sketch ready to transfer in onto the lino in reverse so that when it is time to print the final image should be the correct way round.
