Description
Artist Mair Smith of Dowlais Visual Art Group produced this strong, bold image of the Fountain situated at the bottom of Merthyr Tydfil High Street. The fountain was made of iron and that strength is portrayed by the thick black lines, which contrast the delicate multi-coloured paper that she has used which gives a sense of mystic life the a natural spring would give to a community.
