Description

This is a written summary of the first of two interviews recorded by British Army Veteran David Dudley, who offers the viewer his memoirs of service in the Royal Regiment of Wales. David known as "Dai", joined the Junior Leaders regiment of the British Army in 1979. Upon successful completion of training, he was posted to the Royal Regiment of Wales at Aldershot in January 1980. He went on to serve for over twelve years and completed tours of duty in the UK, Germany, Canada and Hong Kong. This included five tours of Northern Ireland.
