Description

George Hamblin, Police Sergeant number A.500 of the former Glamorgan Constabulary.
 
He began his police career, being stationed at Trecynon, which is near Aberdare. ('A'Division).
 
He passed away in 1985. Guard of Honour, escort and coffin bearers were provided by members of the force.
