Description
This is a copy of a photograph of Royal Navy sailor Edward Pope whom is clearly trying to cope with a hot climate, as he works in the Radio communications room at a Naval base. Edward spent a number of years posted overseas in hot climates, both on shore and at sea. His story can be read on line in the Edward Pope collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive.
