Description
This is a photograph of the Royal Navy guided missile destroyer HMS Glamorgan, published courtesy of Shipsnostalgia.com. Royal Navy Radio Operator Edward Pope served aboard this ship between January 1967 and July 1968. He served in the Communications room, as the ship made is maiden voyage around the globe. Edward's story can be read on line in the Edward Pope collection at the West Wales Veterans archive.
