Description

This is a photograph of the General Service Medal awarded to Royal Army Service Corps driver Roger Trenfield, who served in Cyprus during the time the EOKA Terrorist group was at it's most active and dangerous in the mid 1950's. Roger was an Ambulance driver operating out of the main hospital on the island. Of NCO status at the time he played a significant role in managing and organizing the fleet of Ambulances.
