Description

From the collection are these two rare former Welsh county police force 'Special Constable' lapel badges. They would have been worn on the lapel button holes of civilian jackets.

The Pembrokeshire one is stamped on the rear with number 80 and the Carmarthenshire one is stamped number 343.

Both show the manufacturers details on the reverse - Thomas Fattorini, Regent Street, Birmingham, who produced this type of Special Constable lapel badges for most police forces across the UK during the second world war.
