Description
This written document is intended as an aid to the viewer watching the second of three short films that were recorded from British Army Veterans Leslie Smart. Leslie served for even years with the Gloucestershire regiment, three as a regular soldier and four as a Reservist, between 1953 and 1960. In this film Leslie talks in more detail about operations with A company First battalion Gloucestershire regiment on Kenya during 1955 to 1956. *** The film does contain some material that may cause upset, as Leslie describes combat engagements with enemy forces. Viewer discretion is advised.
