Description

This is the first film of two, that covers an interview given by British Army Veteran David Tomlinson, who served 15 years in the British Army between 1969 and 1984. David's service career covers two periods. His first ten years was a foot soldier in the Coldstream Guards, before he extended his contract and spent the remaining five years with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. During his career, David began mountaineering and photographs of him climbing in Germany, as well as the second film of the interview can be seen in the David Tomlinson collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
