Description
Tynyberth school, Upper Corris where Ellen ( Julia Gunn's grandmother ) went in the early 1900's. It was later owned and run by Lewisham Borough Council, London for the benefit of deprived children to enjoy the country side in Wales. Julia Gunn worked there for six months as a cleaner for £3-11 an hour. On her first day on the 9th of September 1991, her dad drove her there and her mother Moira came too and had a look around the school as she used to attend this school in the late 1930's. I liked my employer Jack Grasse and he made a lovely walking stick for my mother.
