Description

This is a copy of an original photograph of Petty Officer John Roberts RN recuperating at the RAF medical centre at Muharraq in 1956. John had sustained a back injury aboard his ship HMS Loch Fada and spent two weeks in the medical centre. The story around the injury is interesting and can be viewed online, along with interviews recorded with John, photographs and material relating to his long RN career in the John Roberts collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples collection Wales website
