Description

This is a copy of an original photograph of the Royal Navy destroyer D118 HMS Battleaxe. The photograph belongs to Mr John Roberts RN retired, who served aboard HMS Battleaxe as TAS Petty Officer when the ship was recommissioned in 1959-1960. The photograph is believed to date from this period.Interviews that were recorded with John, as well as photographs and related material, can be viewed online in the John Roberts collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples collection Wales website.
