Description

This article is part of the Swansea Court Reports published in The Cambrian on 28 March 1851. Walter was living at home with his family at 10 Garden St on Census night 30 March. The census returns show the inaccuracies in newspaper reporting. Walter's father was actually John Butt (although he may have been known as Walter) and Mrs Phelps was actually Mrs Phillips who ran a shop in Wind St.
