Description

Harry Taylor of Blaenavon (born 13 October 1895) worked before the war as a blacksmith in the ironworks. He enlisted in the Royal Navy on 12 October 1916 and served on the minesweeper Vivid I. Stationed in the Irish Sea, he was able to bring butter back from Ireland to his mother.
